AIDE Terms of Service
Effective date: 07/29/26
These Terms of Service govern subscription access to AIDE, provided by Appsuite, Inc. ("Appsuite"). AIDE is Enterprise Knowledge Infrastructure for AI-assisted software development. By creating an account, accepting a subscription agreement, or using AIDE, you agree to these terms.
Where a signed enterprise agreement or order form exists between your organization and Appsuite, that agreement controls and these terms fill any gaps.
1. Accounts and Seats
AIDE is licensed by named seat. A seat is assigned to one identified individual and may not be shared between people. Your organization's account owner and administrators may invite, reassign, and remove seats within the limits of your subscription.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the account information you provide, for protecting credentials, and for activity that occurs under your seats.
2. Subscription, Usage, and Fees
AIDE is sold as a recurring base subscription plus metered usage. Metered usage includes AI and model consumption, repository scans, and retained evidence storage. Your plan, seat count, and usage guardrail are shown at checkout and in your account, and you acknowledge metered usage as part of subscription acceptance.
Fees are payable by invoice or by the payment method on file, as selected at checkout. Card statements show Appsuite Inc. as the merchant of record.
Usage guardrails are a cost-control feature, not a guarantee. Where your account is configured to notify at a threshold and stop at a cap, an administrator may approve overage.
3. Read-Only Access to Your Systems
AIDE's access to a connected repository or source is read-only. AIDE does not write to your repository and does not write to your database.
You are responsible for granting access only to repositories and sources you are authorized to connect, and for ensuring that the credentials you provide carry no more privilege than AIDE needs. What AIDE reads, and what it does not read, is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Ownership
Your material stays yours. Your source code, your data, your documents, and your organization's information remain the property of your organization. Appsuite claims no ownership of them.
Your derived map and evidence are yours to use. The structural map, readiness scores, prompt contracts, work packets, and evidence AIDE produces about your software are provided to you for your own use, including after your subscription ends, subject to export within a reasonable period.
AIDE stays ours. AIDE itself — its software, interfaces, data models, scoring methods, documentation, and related intellectual property — is owned by Appsuite or its licensors. These terms grant a right to use the service, not ownership of it.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, entitlement checks, seat limits, permissions, audit logging, or rate limits.
- Do not copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, rent, or create derivative works from AIDE except as expressly authorized.
- Do not use AIDE to violate applicable law, contractual obligations, security requirements, or the rights of others.
- Do not connect repositories or sources you are not authorized to access.
- Do not use AIDE to process regulated data it is not designed to hold. AIDE stores structure, not production data.
6. AI Output Requires Review
AIDE improves the context an AI coding assistant works from. It does not make AI output correct, and it does not remove your responsibility to review changes before they reach a production system. Readiness scores, validation results, and work packets are decision support. You remain responsible for what you merge, deploy, and run.
7. Third-Party Services
AIDE connects to third-party systems, including source control providers, AI model providers, payment processors, and messaging providers. Your use of those systems remains subject to their own terms. AIDE uses authorized API access only for the functions you enable.
8. Availability and Changes
Appsuite may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as needed for security, maintenance, product improvement, compliance, or business operations. We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain reliable service and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
9. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's confidential information and use it only for the purposes of this relationship. Your repository structure, architecture, standards, and evidence are treated as your confidential information.
10. Term, Suspension, and Termination
Subscriptions renew for successive terms unless cancelled. Appsuite may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, breach of these terms, or where continued access creates a security or compliance risk. On termination, your right to use AIDE ends; export of your derived map and evidence is available for a reasonable period afterward.
11. Disclaimer
AIDE is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Appsuite disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appsuite will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of AIDE.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Updates are posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated to the account owner.
